Jalen Brunson is heading from the basketball court to Studio 8H. Saturday Night Live announced that the New York Knicks star will host the Season 52 premiere on September 26, with KATSEYE joining the episode as musical guest.
The announcement marks first-time appearances for both Brunson and KATSEYE in their respective SNL roles. Brunson will take on hosting duties during one of television’s longest-running comedy programs, while the global pop group will bring its music to the live broadcast.
The show also revealed several additional pairings for the new season. Dakota Johnson is scheduled to host the October 3 episode with Turnstile performing as a musical guest. Shane Gillis will return as host on October 10, joined by Rosalía.
Later in the month, Inde Navarrette is set to host the October 31 episode, with Gracie Abrams appearing as a musical guest.
The newly announced lineup brings together athletes, actors, comedians, and artists as Saturday Night Live begins another season of live comedy and music.
