ON AIR + DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGER & SALES SPECIALIST

KSJB Radio & MIX 93.3 F-M are hiring for a Digital Content Manager & Sales Specialist.

This is a VERY RARE opening to join a LOCALLY OWNED small group of two radio stations, that are doing live-and-local shows everyday while generating fun, engaging content to our area.  We have two powerhouse signals in KSJB 600am (covering multiple states) and MIX 93.3fm (100,000w FM covering most of southeastern North Daktoa).

If you love producing digital and social media content and have a passion for helping business grow, for then this position is for you!

You will have a chance to manage our growing digital brands, host daily voice tracked shows on the two largest radio stations in our area, and earn an industry-leading 20-percent commission on sales!

Duties of the full time position include:

• Managing Facebook/social media content for KSJB & MIX 93.3
• Managing our digital sales platforms, and ad spaces
• Attendance at concerts and events we cover
• On-Air shifts/shows
• Radio & Digital Sales
• Digital/Video/Graphic production & design

KSJB is the region’s largest legendary county music/news/sports station and MIX 93.3fm is the area’s HotAC/Pop music leader!

Our websites currently generate around 1 million hits monthly, have new apps including the KSJB Sports app, and we are growing our social media presence and content.  It’s an exciting time to join our team!

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluency in social media content generation
• Experience with graphic design or video editing/production
• Valid drivers license

 

PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Radio/broadcast industry experience
• Audio production experience
• Sales experience, highly preferred but not required
• Experience with Google Ad Manager, SoCast, or web design

COMPENSATION

• Industry-leading 20% commission on all sales, uncapped
• Salary negotiable per qualifications plus unlimited commissions, with a guarantee of $40,000 in total salary + commission guarantee during year one!
• Paid EXTRA for:
  • Sponsored on-air remote broadcasts
  • SPORTS – If you also are interested in calling high school sports in our area, we have lots opportunities to call games!  We did over 160 broadcasts last year including all of the football and basketball state championships!  Each game is paid on top of your salary/guarantee, plus travel expenses as needed.

A solid list of accounts will be provided to the right person, with great growth potential with locally-focused sales.

Sales and on-air radio experience a plus. Digital/social media knowledge and passion is a MUST!

SPORTS PLAY-BY-PLAY BROADCASTERS (PART TIME OR POSSIBLE FULL TIME)

KSJB Radio & MIX 93.3 F-M are hiring play-by-play broadcasters for our region-leading coverage of the high school sports season!

We cover football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, and hockey during our year-round coverage. KSJB Radio is the STATION WHERE LEGENDS are made. Maybe that next legend is you!

This position can be FULL TIME or PART TIME, with possible incorporation into other openings in on-air, programming, production, digital, and sales.
